This is my first RoR book. As a amateur web developer, I find this book perfect for learning rails. It starts off with a real world application which keeps me motivated. It covers almost all the basic aspect of rails, and if you follow through, you should be able to build decent web sites. However, since RoR is so new, and everything changes extremely fast, you can't expect this book keep pace with the new development, even though it's already written in an agile fashion. For latest RoR development, you should check out http://rubyonrails.org. While I am typing this, just found out RoR 2.0 was released today, Dec. 17, 2007. Woohoo! nice job!

MEIZU Portable Video and Music player
This is a great portable media player. I've been using it for several months now, no regrets so far!
pros:
- awesome sound quality
- support many formats. In particular OGG, which is an high quality open source audio codec. If you are a supporter of open source like me, please consider this one. Who needs mp3?! :)
- sleek design. much lighter and smaller than ipod
- navigation is not bad
cons: none so far.

It doesn't fit teenagers because it is too greasy. But if you are in 30s and wear make up, it is a good product to remove the make up and clean your face.

A very nice bluetooth stereo headset at this price range. It can be used for both making phone calls and listening to music.
Pros:
- good sound quality. Probably this is what you can get from bluetooth wireless technology for streaming music.
- very long range. I can walk around in my house without dropping audio.
Cons:
- bulky, not very comfortable to wear for extended periods. Motorola MOTOROKR S9 seems to be a better choice if you are concerned with its size.

It works well if your symptoms are light. This product is not suitable for you if your allergy is severe.
